Thing 2

The more databases patrons have access to in advance, along with training users how to access the different databases properly, the more the databases will be used. I see databases made available as many ways to introduce users in more ways than one. It is way to introduce our middle/older patrons with the knowledge and information of databases offered through library system homepage.

These databases will be valuable to users who are comfined to their homes, travelers, or users in general. Any information that can be made available via internet will be beneficial to all users whether they are in the libraries or not.

Thing 1

I think that with the economy being in the shape that it's in, this program timing is perfect. I think that learning to access, as well as, using blogger and all the other databases being offered through The 23 Things are assets that we as librarians will benefit greatly from.

The 23 Things will be something that I will used at work, home and church for communication and education. Learning to access the different things that are being offered through The 23 Things will allow anyone involved with accessing online databases with and for the public various ways and techniques to share information, training and build confident when working with the younger generation with online databases.

Thank you NEFLIN for allowing librarian the opportunity to participate in such a great workshop.
